E-Governance in India: Problems, Prototypes and Prospects (Government Procedures and Operations)

In the current era, e-Governance has emerged as a most prominent tool for strengthening democracy. Therefore, in the year 2006, the Government of India launched National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) which encompasses thirty-one Mission Mode Projects to automate high priority tasks associated with rural and urban areas of the country.
