So ist es dann auch nicht verwunderlich, dass im Rahmen einer weltweiten Studie des Department of Trade and Industry aus Gro߭ britannien, festgestellt wurde, dass Firmenkunden derzeit erst bei maximal 25 Prozent ihrer Lieferanten Online bezahlen k�nnen. Diesen H�chstwert erreichen allerdings vor� erst auch nur Unternehmen aus Australien. Eine elektronische Bezahlfunktion bieten in den USA 16 Prozent, in Gro�britannien 15 Prozent und in der BRD ebenfalls 15 Prozent der Unternehmen ihren Kunden an. Hierzulande hat der Anteil der Unternehmen, die ihren Kunden die M�glichkeit zum elektronischen Bezahlen einr�umen zwischen 2001 und 2002 sogar leicht abgenommen. Ziel des vorliegenden Buches ist es, die verschiedenen elektronischen Zahlungssysteme, die bisher entwickelt wurden, systematisch vorzustellen und anhand von spezifischen Kriterien zu bewerten. Dadurch wollen wir herausfinden, welche Zahlungssysteme als geeignet erscheinen, den elektronischen Handel bzw. die herannahende Paid-Content� �ra im Internet ad�quater als es bisher der Fall ist zu unterst�tzen. Das Buch gliedert sich - neben dem ersten einleitenden und dem letzten zusammenfassenden Kapitel - in sieben weitere Kapitel, so dass es aus insgesamt neun Kapiteln besteht. Die in Kapitel 1 vorgetragenen �berlegungen bez�glich der Systematisierung und Be� wertung von elektronischen Zahlungssystemen bilden die Leitidee zum Aufbau desBuches.

Dr. Marius Dannenberg lehrt als Professor E-Business an der Steinbeis-Hochschule in Berlin und ist Lehrbeauftragter an der Universit�t Kassel sowie an der Kassel International Management School (KIMS).
