192 pages. Staple-bound Paperback; H 20cm x L 13.25cm. Original green paper covers toned at top edges and along spine, top 8cm of spine paper lacking with extending tear to front joint leaving front cover rather tenuously attached. Some soiling and toning to edges. B/w frontispiece portrait with facsimile signature detached. Staples well rusted but binding otherwise remains firm; a few interior leaves nicked and/or trimmed unevenly at their top edges. A fair copy. Governor Robert Love Taylor (1850-1912) represented Tennessee in the US House of Representatives from 1879 to 1881, served two terms as Governor of Tennessee from 1887 to 1891 and from 1897 to 1899, and was elected to the US Senate serving from 1907 till his death in 1912.
