ECHOES of LIGHT - Images Into Writing

Echoes of Light is modern, with comments about social and Indigenous issues, old and new, splashes of flash fiction and memoirs, a sprinkling of poetry, creative profiles, geological phenomena, historical reveals, and bits of nontraditional people. Steve Gerkin is an accomplished author and essayist with a writing career spanning over two decades. He has published four books and over fifty nonfiction essays, earning a reputation for his rich storytelling and thoughtful exploration of history, place, and the human experience. Through his writing, mentorship, and community involvement, Steve continues to impact the literary landscape, particularly in his home city of Tulsa and the surrounding region. Sam Joyner is a retired United States Magistrate Judge in Tulsa, Oklahoma. For thirty years, he has been a professional photographer, represented by MA Doran Gallery. His work has been shown in one-person shows at the McMahon Gallery, Leslie Powell Gallery, and the Capitol Building, Oklahoma City, and in numerous group shows, including Gilcrease Museum and Hardesty Art Center of Tulsa.
