ECLAC's Influence on Latin American Industrialisation: A comparative analysis between Brazil and Argentina

‘ECLAC's Influence on Latin American Industrialisation’ analyses the process of industrialisation in Brazil and Argentina. It addresses the issue of economic underdevelopment in the region, as well as its causes and consequences. The book discusses ECLAC's role in Latin America, its primary objectives and the fundamental elements of its thinking, as well as a retrospective of the industrialisation of the countries in question. Although ECLAC's theory does not fully explain the economic underdevelopment of these countries, it deserves to be highlighted as a theory that discusses underdevelopment at an institutional and international level.
