Hardcover with green cloth binding and silver spine print. Silver image of No. America on front cover. Light wear at corner tips. Previous owner initial or name in red ink on each edge and name on front endpaper. Paper in two signatures have darkened edges. Very sound and otherwise unmarked. 610 pages i9ncluding index. No DJ. Author's original "Naturalist's Guide" was published in 1925. From then until 1943 the author collected data and assigned Graduate Papers to help fill in area information until 1943. The result is very comprehensive Natural History examination s for the entire North American area Slightly larger than standard weight. S&H will be adjusted.
