EMDR with Kids Flip Chart: A Play-Based Tool for Trauma Processing, Nervous System Regulation, and the Transformation of Adaptive Behaviors

How can I deliver EMDR to kids and teens in a developmentally appropriate way?

That is what you’ll find in EMDR with Kids Flip Chart—an interactive therapeutic tool that blends play therapy techniques with the wisdom of polyvagal theory, all while staying true to the eight-phase framework of EMDR.

Thoughtfully designed with young nervous systems in mind, this flip chart features over 25 colorful play- and art-based activities for each phase of EMDR, along with supplementary information, directions, and sample scripts to help you:

• Foster relational safety through the reciprocity of play
• Maintain a playful and supportive atmosphere during processing
• Introduce bilateral stimulation in fun, creative ways
• Use the power of imagery and metaphors to explain concepts
• Incorporate movement, sounds, and breathwork into session
• Support playful whole-body awareness
• And more!

Intended for in-session use, this flip chart features:

• A two-sided 9" × 12" design that stands upright for easy visibility and portability
