Denver, CO: Japanese Publishing Company, 1947. 9 3/4 x 6 3/4 inches: pp. [6], 96, [4]. In orange paper dust jacket with photo of Hirohito looking through a microscope. Flexible black boards with gold gilt on front board and spine. Photo-illustrated throughout. Cover has wear at bottom edge, dust jacket has small chips along the top, some soiling and light wear at folds, rear panel is stained, sun fading at spine and exterior edges. Binding strong. Contains two page article "My Impressions of the Emperor of Japan." by Miles W. Vaughn, otherwise text is in Japanese with the exception of photo captions in Japanese and English. Interior clean with foxing inside front and back covers and some light soiling to edges. Basically newspaper photos showing Hirohito in daily family activities and out in public.
