Pp. 384, 7 coloured plates (including the frontispiece with tissue guard), plus 16 black & white plates, coloured decorative title page; med. 8vo; pictorial green cloth, lettered in gilt and decorated in colour, boards slightly soiled and flecked, edges lightly rubbed and fore-corners slightly bruised; the upper free endpaper faintly creased, hinges tender at a couple of points, 2 plates loosening, a couple of tiny edge splits, some foxing throughout; Religious Tract Society, London, n.d. *Australian issue, with the cover title 'The Empire Annual for Australian Boys'. Contributors include Louis Becke and Talbot Baines Reed.
