About the Author
As PI of the "Cardiovascular Development & Disease" (DeCA) research group, Dr. Pérez-Pomares is interested in the developmental bases of cardiovascular disease, and the team aims at identifying new diagnostic and prognostic markers as well as therapeutical targets and advanced therapies to treat the diseased heart. He is author of 10 book chapters and more than 60 publications in peer-reviewed, international journals.
