Marbled end-papers, all edges red. t.p. + A2-A6 (unpag. prelims) +_340 + (4, Contents) + (4, pub.list), some engraved tail-pieces; clean and tight, faint traces of erased penclling to fr. blank fly of little significance, light marginal edge-tanning to t.p. and very faintly throughout. pp. 1 -41 are Wallis's Preface, p.42 is, oddly, a notice for 4th ed. of author's 'Royal English Grammar'. 'Just published'. This is the 5th edition. Apparently now rare with no Bookfinder site matches of any edition at time of listing.10 cm x 16.5 cm.
