Fifth edition (first published 1790). Complete two volume set. Hardcover: H 22cm x L 13.25cm. Uniformly bound in dark olive polished morocco leather, boards with centerpiece stamped geometric and floral vignettes and gilt borders; spines with bright gilt stamping to top, center, and bottom compartments with gilt lettered dark maroon labels in-between. Light scuffing at spine ends and board corners. All edges marbled; brown endpapers strongly toned along their edges; mostly light but occasionally mild to moderate toning/foxing to interior leaves. Bindings are firm. Still a handsome very good antiquarian set. Please note that this set has an approximate shipping weight of 3.25 pounds and will require additional postage and insurance for any postal class other than domestic Media Mail.
