Beautifully presented by The Folio Society (as one has come to expect), these four books are in near first class condition, hardly read or used by the looks of each book. As the four books are used, normal wear, marks and tear apply consistent with use and age. Each of the four books is listed in no particular order: 1: "The Descent of Man" and Selection in Relation to Sex, 592 pages, 2: "The Expressions of the Emotions" in Man and Animals, 258 pages, 3: "A Naturalist's Voyage" Journal of Researches into the Natural History and Geology of the Countries Visited during The Voyage of H.M.S. Beagle round the World, under the command of Captain Fitz Roy: Introduction by Richard Hawkins, 395 pages, 4: "On The Origin of Species" by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life, 298 page. All four volumes pages are intact, very clean, readable with nice tight bindings.
