Reprint. Hardback, with dust wrapper. Hodder and Stoughton's People's Library. Blue boards with black lettering on spine. Head and tail of spine lightly rubbed. Edges of boards are a little chipped. Binding is neat and tidy. Page edges bear discolouration, particularly the head edge. Some discolouration on pastedowns and free endpaper. Previous bookseller's stamp on tail of front pastedown. Some spots and light foxing throughout, yet this book is in good condition. Dust wrapper has some moderate rubbing and creases at the edges. Thumbing along top and bottom, some large chips and tears. Head of spine missing, so too tail of spine. Back cover lightly scuffed. General discoloration due to age. Edges and corners showing wear, yet this dust wrapper is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously; they usually present better than they sound.
