Quarto, viii, 66 pages, [75 plates]. In Good minus condition. Half green leather and marbled paper boards, with gilt-lettered light brown leather spine labels. Boards show significant wear to corners and edge, splitting to leather along joints, moderate plus wear to edges and to boards overall. Boards slightly bowed. Tear to marbled end papers along front gutter, and front board and spine leather have pulled away from text block (but still attached). Text block has light age toning to edges, and moderate plus foxing to plates throughout interiorly. One prominent damp stain to frontispiece engraving. Volume I of a three-volume set, only.
