EXPLAINING THE DOCTRINE OF LAST THINGS: Basic Bible Doctrines of the Christian Faith

Few areas of Christian doctrine have been surrounded by more confusion, speculation, and sensationalism than the doctrine of last things. Popular theories, prophetic charts, and endless predictions have often obscured what Scripture actually says about the future. Yet the Bible presents a clear and coherent message about how history will reach its divinely appointed conclusion.

In Explaining the Doctrine of Last Things, Edward D. Andrews carefully examines the major themes of biblical eschatology using the historical-grammatical method of interpretation. Drawing directly from the Scriptures, this book guides readers through the Bible’s teaching on prophecy, the signs of the end of the age, the Antichrist, the man of lawlessness, the mark of the beast, the great tribulation, Armageddon, death, hell, the resurrection hope, the millennium, the final judgment, and the promise of the new heavens and new earth.

Rather than speculation or sensationalism, Andrews presents a clear, text-governed explanation of what the Bible actually teaches. Readers will discover how prophecy strengthens faith, clarifies the course of history, and directs believers to the ultimate triumph of God’s kingdom through Jesus Christ.

Written for serious Bible students and thoughtful Christians alike, this volume brings clarity, depth, and confidence to one of the most important doctrines of the Christian faith.
