A most interesting work for its insights into the ministerial side of the Revolution, for Knox is free in his criticism of other members of the government. A reprint of the London edition, with added matter, containing correspondence dealing largely with Irish affairs. The second volume which appears with the London edition, which is largely concerned with American affairs, was not reprinted in this edition. SABIN 38181. ESTC N9579. 308pp. Half title.
