This is a rare collection of 55 issues of the magic publication "THE EAGLE MAGICIAN" from 1915 to 1922, including a complete run of the first 17 issues - November, 1915 (Volume 1, Number 1) to March, 1917 (Volume 2, Number 5). Softcovers. The lot includes numerous mentions of HARRY HOUDINI while he was at the peak of his career. Illustrations and advertisements. The magazine was devoted to the art of stage magic, illusions, and sleight-of-hand tricks. Published monthly, "The Eagle Magician" served as a resource and community hub for both amateur and professional illusionists of the era.

Condition:
The issues range in condition from Fair to Very Good. Some issues have a detached front and/or back cover. One issue is missing both covers. The last 4 issues have had their back covers replaced with a hand-made sheet of colored paper stapled at the spine. The May 1916 issue has 2 strips of tape at the inner edges of the cover. One issue has a name written on the front cover. Occasional tears and stains as would be expected. The colored ribbon tie at the spine of the December 1915 issue is mostly missing. The pages are in overall very good condition - mostly clean with only a few random pages found with a pencil (or colored pencil) marking. A large section of the right edge of the title page in the June 1916 issue has been clipped out. Please message me for a detailed condition summary for any particular issue(s). Overall the lot is in Good- condition.
