About the Author
Henry E. Chip Scholz is Head Coach of Scholz and Associates and is an executive coach, columnist and a public speaker. He works with CEOs, elected leaders, association executives and public and private sector decision-makers across North America. With his straightforward, "tell-it-like-it-is" approach to current business issues, coupled with more than 25 years of management and leadership experience, Chip Scholz is a dynamic and much sought-after executive coach, facilitator and speaker. He is a Certified Professional in Behavior, Value and Attribute Analysis, and is a member of Target Training International's Chairman's Club. He is a Certified Business Coach. The Scholz Report, a monthly newsletter produced and written by Chip, is distributed broadly. Chip currently serves on the board of the International Warehouse Logistics Association in Chicago.
Tracy Lunquist has built her life and her business around creating positive change. Her company, Working Magic, offers strategic planning, curriculum design, facilitation and program evaluation. Tracy holds a Master of Education degree in Human Resource and Organization Development from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and has been in business for herself for over ten years. Tracy is active in her community, serving a four-year term (2008-2012) as a Commissioner of the West Volusia Hospital Authority as well as maintaining membership in the DeLand Area Chamber of Commerce. She also serves as a chapter officer in the Central Florida Chapter of Women in Aviation, International.
Susan Nielsen, President and Founder of Leaderscapes Incorporated, works with leaders at all levels to help them improve their effectiveness and achieve goals. She is a Certified Business Coach, as well as a speaker, facilitator and author. Susan is known for creating opportunities for a-ha moments with her clients, from the most senior and experienced executives to a clerk on a shop floor. She brings energy, hope, a fresh perspective, and a practical, systems approach to everything she does. Susan understands how organizations work. She blends that knowledge and her understanding of people and behavior to influence positive change. Susan brings more than 15 years' experience in human relations, recruiting, leadership development, training, and change management. She works primarily with manufacturing companies making the cultural transition to lean leadership. Susan holds a Master's degree in Training and Human Resource Development from the University of Wisconsin Stout, and Bachelor's degrees in English and Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin River Falls. Susan is a Certified Professional with the Total Quality Institute, and an active affiliate of Resource Associates Corporation in Reading, PA. She received additional coach training through the Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and is a graduate of CTI's Leadership Program. In 2010, Susan joined St. Mary's University of Minnesota faculty as an Adjunct Instructor in the Organizational Leadership Masters Degree Program.
