no date, circa 1976. Tabloid newspaper format. 12 pp. Single issue of this journal/zine devoted to new music in all its forms. Ear Magazine published from 1973 to 1991. Originally established in San Francisco, Ear began to publish in New York as well, when Beth Anderson moved there. She left Ear in 1978. This issue features photos of Brian Eno and Kathy Acker, among others; three architexts by Laurie Anderson, which depicts the use of doors and other objects to play music; an article on punk rock/rock/synthesis aesthetics by Beth Anderson; a piece by Hannah Weiner, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. Heavy foxing/spotting to the front cover, with general toning. Minor soiling. Some creasing and bumping along the edges. Ad on the rear cover circled in blue ink. Scattered minor foxing in the interior.
