11' x 17" book, staple bound with maps, most b&w, some two and three color depicting historical Washinton with overland stage routes, old military roads, indian battle grounds, old forts and old gold mines, Covers are worn with small stains, creasing, corner wear, 1/2" tear front fore edge. Interior is clean and unmarked in any way, undamaged, clean. Maps are all two-page in size. 21 maps with b&w photo sections at front and back. Middle map is loose from staple binding. Included are: Washington 1853- 1854 Indian Nations (very detailed), Fort Walla Walla - Fort Benton military road 1858, Camp Spokane 1888, Postal Route map 1883, and Washington maps 1804, 1838, 1859, 1865, 1873, 1878, 1979, 1881, 1887, 1987 again, 1905, 1914, by various parties: postmaster general, Land offices, U.S. surveys, particular civil engineers, etc. all with one paragraph descriptions of their features, uncommon aspects, particular uses and insights. Unpaginated, about 70 pages.
