Earth (Elemental Fractions)

Imagine if we could take each element as a whole thought-form and shine it through a prism, so that each of its qualities were separated into different components: fractions of a

whole. This is the first of four anthologies connected to the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water, in which each story is a fraction of one of these elements. This book is the first of these offerings: Earth. Within these pages you will find science fiction, fantasy, magical realism and even some folk horror.

In this edition of Elemental Fractions, we have stories from Maria Hummer, Sasha Ravitch, Wendy Ashley, Demian Lamont, Trish Marriott, Ivy Senna, Katarina Pejovic, and Liz Williams. These authors offer us their unique take on the element of Earth, from the sensory displays of earth throughout many of the stories, both nourishing and full of life, as well as those of ending, decay, and rebirth. They reveal boundaries that we make for ourselves or navigate from others, and explore the physical boundaries of the earth itself, from the magical ridgeways of the English countryside to the mysterious stone circles which ground us in our own place in time. These stories will enchant you, delight you, and hopefully reconnect you with your own place on earth.
