This book was published to commemorate actual space flight in 1969 and fictional spaceflight in 1869 in the mind and pen of Jules Verne. From Earth to the Moon was first written in 1885 and the sequel, Around the Moon in 1870, and both still almost take one's breath away with their parallels to the events of a hundred years later. Verne was truly a man with foresight. A clean very presentable copy.
