Earthborn and Shadowbound

A dreamy, spicy why choose romantasy from Indie author Natasha Remee. Perfect for fans of Sarah J Maas, Scarlett St. Clair, and K.F. Breene. Hunted by prophecy and taunted by a past she cannot recall, Ilyana is caught between the sacred duty of priestesshood and the hunger she can no longer deny. She craves freedom, her magic burns to be released, and her soul is haunted by a love so fierce it echoes across time. A golden-hearted warrior stands at her side, willing to bleed for her. An ancient god of death stalks her from the shadows, whispering her name like a prayer. And a self-proclaimed king would see her on her knees-or burning at his feet. As the old magic awakens and the Wilds begin to burn, Ilyana must rise. But she'll do it dripping in fire, soaked in sin, and utterly unwilling to settle. Follow Ilyana on a journey across the wild, ancient lands of Praia-steeped in fate and burning with desire.

Magic is fading. Tribal alliances are fraying. War simmers beneath every border. And the once-sacred covenants with the human kingdom have been broken, unleashing a long-buried curse that spreads like ink through the land, unraveling the very magic that holds Praia together.

Across these fractured lands, powerful tribes struggle to survive:

-The warrior shapeshifters of the northern Maroas, as primal and enduring as the mountains they prowl.

-The ancient Duendars of the living Wilds, protectors of the very heart of Praia's ancient magic.

-The fierce Waterfolk of Nabia, beautiful and ruthless as the ocean tide, defenders of the seas.

As rivalries flare and forbidden alliances bloom, hearts become battlegrounds of their own. Desire sparks in the shadows of destiny, and love becomes both a weapon and a weakness.

Each book in the series follows the journey of four fiercely loyal friends, as war, passion, and prophecy collide-blending steamy romance, aching heartbreak, and high fantasy into a tale of magic, war, and the power of choosing who (or what) is worth burning for.

These are the Legends of Praia

Natasha Remee is a lifelong lover of fantasy and dark romance, anime, and storytelling in all its forms. She believes that a big factor in her immense imagination can be credited to not only her ADHD (she forgot to load the laundry while writing this) but also to her childhood (and current) homeland of Northern California. She loves the magical woods and hills that surround her, and like the many books stacked in corners and tables in her room, then and now, she also seeks escape in nature. She began devouring books at the tender age of four, and hasn't slowed down yet, just like she won't slow down with her writing either. You can expect several romance-filled books coming soon. "Starborn and Helbound" is the next in the "Legends of Praia" series, as well as "Wicked and Damned," a dark romance novel. You can find Natasha on Instagram and TikTok as @authornatasharemee, where she often embarrasses herself and her children.
