Echo (Chinese version)

Echo Tsai's success story of her struggle with adversity has gained special recognition from the Mayor of Boston, Thomas Menino.

How did a shy country girl from Taiwan whose mother took her all over to hide from creditors become a well-known Boston celebrity after forty years? How did a divorced mother win the fight against poverty and suicide, and become the CEO of a Silicon Valley computer company that grossed close to a billion dollars in revenue? How did a single mother raise her daughter? How did a Taiwanese immigrant, who never studied English in school, self-educate herself to become the model immigrant as praised by former Vice President Al Gore?
