J. Angelique Johnson grew up in the foothills of Colorado. She earned a degree in English from the University of Minnesota, Mankato, and has been writing nonfiction for children since 2009. Her books range from mythology to step-by-step tips on how to find the right pet, which she has two of (one dog, and one cat who likes to terrorize the dog). She now lives in south central Minnesota with her husband and two children (who terrorize one another).
