Economic Comparative Advantage of Maize Farming Systems in Mozambique

This book talks about the comparative advantage of maize farming systems in Mozambique. Two farming systems were identified namely the rainfed and the irrigated systems. Overall, with the existing technologies, Mozambique does not have comparative advantage in producing maize. However, the use of adapted technologies such as improved maize varieties could be a sustainable solution. There is strong evidence that trade within the country is a possibility.

Mme Aniambossou a obtenu une licence en agronomie. Elle s'est ensuite inscrite à un master en économie agricole au Mozambique grâce à une bourse de l'Union européenne. Pendant son séjour au Mozambique, elle a relevé de nouveaux défis en participant à des séminaires et à des conférences pour améliorer ses connaissances. De retour au Bénin, elle a commencé à travailler comme assistante de recherche.
