- Book 4 of 5: Wickwood Chronicles
Sashen de Shoale must save her world from destruction. Oracles blame humans for the fissure that tears through their land, disrupting the natural order. Using ancient Traveller technology, she and her assassin-trained sister open a portal in a desperate gamble to prevent catastrophe—but only one of them makes it through.
Earth has changed since the fae last made contact.
Special Agent Ander Martinez has faced chimera and battled demons, but nothing prepares him for the vortex that materializes downtown. Powerless to stop it, the force pulls his colleagues through, leaving him to confront the breathtaking warrior princess alone. Sparks ignite between them, and he finds himself on the wrong end of her deadly blades. Their clash won’t stop time from unraveling, or bring his teammates and her sister back.
And while the barrier weakens, Wickwood teeters on the edge of chaos.
