In a dystopic future, the world is severely overpopulated and children are forbidden. Mechanical children are invented as a substitute, but for one determined woman that is not enough. This is a used book. Pages are clean and bright with no markings, notes, or highlighting. Page edges show minor foxing. DJ shows only minor shelf wear and is not price clipped. Back end paper has what look like phone numbers written on it; not ex-library. Binding is tight and square. Bottom corners very lightly bumped. An excellent reading copy. SFBC code B40 on page 181.

We guarantee the condition of every book as it's described on the AbeBooks web sites. If you're dissatisfied with your purchase (Incorrect Book/Not as Described/Damaged) or if the order hasn't arrived, you're eligible for a refund within 30 days of the estimated delivery date. If you've changed your mind about a book that you've ordered, please use the Ask bookseller a question link to contact us and we'll respond within 2 business days. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights including the right to withdraw from the contract and your statutory warranty rights.
We accept PayPal only. Maryland residents please add 6% sales tax. For INTERNATIONAL PURCHASES, PLEASE contact Code X Books at codexbooksusa@gmail.com at the time of your order and we will email you the exact cost quoted us by the shipping agency.
Shipping terms
Shipping to US addresses is free; books are sent via US Postal Service. Please note that packages shipped this method can take up to four weeks to arrive. Upon request we will ship USPS Priority rate or Fed Ex for $7.00 for the first book and $1.50 for each additional title shipped at the same time. All books mailed with care and in most cases will include automatic delivery confirmation for tracking ability where available. International customers charged at cost. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know extra shipping is required. Buyer pays shipping costs.
