Three volumes: (Vols. I & VII) are entitled the Edinburgh Monthly Review. Vol. I is dated January-June 1819, Vol. VII covers July - December 1819. (The latter information is derived from chapter headings - there is no separate title page in this volume). The third book in this collection is entitled the New Edinburgh Review; July-October 1821. Half-leather patterned boards, which are chipped and worn in places (main image). Tight binding. Internally, the pages are generally quite tanned, with occasional spotting, although the text remains relatively clean and crisp; even where the tanning is more pronounced/pervasive. The New Edinburgh Review volume includes a fold-out illustration and table (see image). pp. Vol I (Edinburgh Monthly Review): 750, pp. Vol VII (Edinburgh Monthly Review): 604, pp. Vol. I (New Edinburgh Review) Vol: 288. All three books: 12mo (large). NB the listed publisher (Waugh and Innes) refers to the New Edinburgh Review and the Vol. Edinburgh Monthly Review. There is no publisher indicated for the Vol. VII edition.
