Educator's Reference for Data Center Education

Add data centers to your curriculum. “Jumpstart Your Career in Data Centers Featuring Careers for Women, Trades, and Vets in Tech and Data Centers,” was written to explain the who, what, where, when, why and how of data centers. The idea was to remove the barrier to entry for those that could fill the 300,000 currently open positions within the industry. I also know that educators may not have the data center expertise to enhance their classroom education with data center topics. To that end, this guide was developed to help students understand what a data center is, how they work, and the jobs within the industry. Educators will find plenty of resources to aid in adding data centers to their information technology instructions.

This book was developed for teachers and educators that want to enhance their trades, vocational/technical education, coding, networking, and general information technology classrooms with enough information to help students understand the data center ecosystem and jobs within that ecosystem. For those are teaching vocational/technical subjects, skilled trades are in great demand. Included you will find takeaways for each chapter, experiments, and overall learning goals to help Jumpstart Your Career in Data Centers!
