Association copy. "For Richard Tetlie with affection and warm regards, Harry N. Abrams." Abrams is the titular founder of the publishing company; Tetlie was an art representative and avid collector, whose donated collection to his alma mater, St. Olaf College, includes at least one painting possibly attributable to Munch. Book is full of underlining and likely Tetlie's own notes, about his recollections of paintings or where he saw them. Dust jacket has shelf wear, cover has pen and other small stains, pages lightly toned, small brown stain to foreedge, but otherwise book is in good condition. Proceeds from this sale benefit the Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon. This is not an ex-library book. Extra shipping charges may apply due to book's weight.
