Synopsis
In this lyrical story, a child discovers that drips, spills, and splatters from her colorful palette create their own "accidental" -and powerful images. Imagination ignites as she joyously embraces various paint smears and smudges, and a world of wonder emerges where there are no mistakes. Eek! My Ink! captures the kindness of self-love, and offers the gift of a colorful world.
About the Author
Raven Howell writes stories and poetry for children. Having published several award-winning picture books, she continues to enjoy sharing her love of literature and whimsy. Raven is Creative & Publishing Advisor for Red Clover Reader, Poetry Director for Monster Magnificent, and writes The Book Bug column for Story Monsters Ink magazine. Her poems are found in children's magazines such as Ladybug, Spider, Highlights for Children, Humpty Dumpty, and Hello Magazine, and she is a Collaborating Author for Reading is Fundamental.
In addition to writing and reading, Raven is inspired by sunny beaches, laughter, yoga, family, art, summer zinnias, and the occasional warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie.
