The present book is an effort to promote cultivation of processable potato in Punjab by screening of different low temperature tolerant Indian and exotic cultivars of potato, in order to identify best agronomic practices and make available the high dry matter and low reducing sugar potatoes to processing industry even under severe winters, against the general belief, at affordable price throughout the year.

About the Author

Authors are faculty members of Post-Graduate Department of Agriculture, Khalsa College, Amritsar (India), and are associated with research on development of agriculture since more than a decade. They have supervised several M.Sc. Thesis and have publications of national and international repute to their credit.
