Barun K. Mitra PhD, formerly Professor of English, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, has imparted technical communication skills to generations of students during his long teaching career spanning three decades. He has also worked as the Director and Vice President, South Asia Hankes Foundation, Kolkata, where he worked on a language project with scientists and engineers.
