23 pages , 2 black and white plates , original wrappers , a half cm stain runs through the bottom margin of most of the contents but doesn't effect either text or plates .An address to The Entomological Society of London read 19 January 1927 . Includes an appendix on 'Gyandromorphs and Intersexes ' by E A Cockayne. A scarce paper by this leading entomologist , scientist and thinker.
