Good/none. This item consists of two (2) pamphlets in a brown mailer. One of the pamphlets is issued by the Fresno Irrigation District, Fresno CA. in 1928, titled "Methods and devices used in the measurement and regulation of flow to service ditches, together with tables for field use". This has 24 pages, stapled paper wraps with slight damp staining to lower fore-edge and most of the spine. This is stated as an abreviated edition, published for the "California Corrugated Culvert Co". It has photographs of the headgate in use, diagrams of proper instalation, tables of discharge and discharge data for the various sizes of headgates available. The second pamphlet is the Calco slide headgate pamphlet and consists of tan colored pictorial stapled paper wraps. The pamphlet has been 3-hole-punched, has 35 pages, and shows slight damp staining at lower fore edge as well as along the spine. This advertising brochure shows images of the various sizes of head gates in place, sketches of proper head gate instalation, charts of discharge data and testimonials from users of the product. Both pamphlets come in a brown paper mailer as issued by California Corrugated Culvert Co. and there are 3 one and a half cent stamps still attached to the mailer. Soiling from shelf storage is present on the rear of the mailer.
