Published the year after the first.Bound in the publisher's bright blue decorative cloth. The first beautifully illustrated travel work by Robert Talbot Kelly, an account of his impressions and experiences of Egypt during his long stay there. His vivid paintings show his great respect to the Egyptian people and their culture. Illustrated with a frontispiece, and seventy-four colour plates. Collated, complete.Ink inscription to front blank. Bound in the publisher's blue cloth. Externally, very smart, with light bumping to the extremities and rubbing to the joints and extremities. A little discolouration to the backstrip and the odd mark. A slight lean. A few spots to endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean, with a few scattered spots to the end pages and to the page margins. Ink inscription to front blank. Very Good.
