Eh Up!

Eh Up! Poetry from Yorkshire

Peter J. Watson finds poetry in the small things - sheds full of forgotten treasures, seagulls with a taste for fish and chips, Yorkshire puddings falling in love with wild Haggises. Blending dry humour with tenderness, these poems speak of grief, joy, stubbornness, and quiet resilience.

Eh Up! celebrates the ordinary made magical, where laughter sits beside tears, and the landscape of Yorkshire becomes both setting and character. For anyone who's ever loved a cuppa, lost a loved one, or simply needed a smile on a rainy day, these poems offer warmth, mischief, and a sideways grin.

Peter J. Watson is a Yorkshire poet whose work finds the extraordinary in the ordinary, blending dry humour, heartfelt memory and the quirks of everyday life. He is a founding member of the Wordbotherers writers' collective.
