About the Author

Dr. Scott Turansky, D.Min. and his wife Carrie have five children. Dr. Turansky directed a preschool for eight years and is presently a counselor and seminar speaker in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. He and Mrs. Miller have an organization called Effective Parenting which offers many helpful resources for families.

Joanne Miller, RN, BSN, and her husband Ed have two boys. Mrs. Miller has been a pediatric nurse for 13 years and is presently working at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She is an author and public speaker, and her parenting ideas have helped many families over the years. She works with Dr. Scott Turansky to speak and do seminars in the New Jersey area.
