Tall, narrow folio (approx. 18¼" x 7½"), pp. [2], 31, [3]; the front pastedown and p. [1] show dramatic color illustrations of the RMS Mauretania and the RMS Berengaria, and the last leaf is a foldout of the RMS Aquitania; verso of the last leaf and rear pastedown show a double-page spread of "the world's wondership Aquitania." Numerous other illustrations throughout, a number in color, and including a dramatic double-page mounted duotone print of the RMS Mauretania docking at night in Southampton. This copy retains the original paper dust jacket (torn, with a number of short tears) and the original mailing envelope (approx. 8¼" x 18½") with 4 one-penny stamps and a Liverpool postmark, addressed to one William Highet, Greenock. Published by Cunard for the British Empire Exhibition at Wembley in 1924. It features a decade-by-decade history of the line, illustrated in black & white lithography with some color tints, and color lithographs of Cunard liners in the fleet. The clever fold in the final leaf transforms this brochure into a striking 22½" x 45" triple-page 'poster' of Mauretania, Berengaria, and Aquitania.
