We are a small, independent, online bookstore. We strive to provide high quality books at reasonable prices; children's pictorial and chapter books, comics and graphic novels, mass market popular fiction, history, philosophy and English literature to vintage, rare and collectable hardcover books. Books are posted 3 times weekly - Monday, Wednesday and Friday. The purchaser may choose between Canada Post and UPS, postage cost will reflect that choice and pay the cost of the postage only unless tracking or insurance is requested, Please bare in mind listed shipping costs are based on those offered by Canada Post. If multiple items are purchased they will be combined for maximum savings on postage/shipping. Further, Canada Post does not provide tracking with standard shipping to the US ***Insurance is mandatory on all orders of more than $75 Canadian and is added to purchasers cost.*** Happy to combine shipping to reduce costs to you.

Eisbar Books - uses the best packaging available for the particular item. Insurance will depend on the value of the item, on a case by case determination.
SHIPPING & HANDLING: Shipping will be done through Canada Post - ( if for any reason you would like item(s) shipped via another method pls contact seller before payment is made). Priority Mail, Air Mail, and Insurance, quotes made upon request or automatically on placement of order.
Orders usually ship within 2 business days.
Average shipping costs are based on books weighing 1.5 LB, or 0.6 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we will contact you about the need for extra postage. If the book is heavier or needs additional protection, charges will reflect the cost quoted by Canada Post.
Postage charges will fall under one of three (3) catagories - regional (within Canada) and domestic (Canada wide), or USA.
All buyers should contact the seller to obtain a shipping price quote as it will vary depending on your choice of service (ie. next day, priority, standard, etc.) We will then responed to the customer advising them of the lowest shipping expense (shipping charges will reflect the exact cost of Canada post and packaging materials).
Any purchase exceeding $Can 100.00 will only be shipped registered and insured at purchasers expense.
