About the Author

T K Basak had been Professor of Electrical Engineering in Jadavpur University, Kolkata, since 1989. He had been the Head of the Department, teaching students at the undergraduate as well as postgraduate levels. He was also invited by IEEE as chairperson of the technical sessions of international conferences held in the USA. He had also been involved in the academic programme as a member of Wessex Institute of Technology, New Forest, UK. He has to his credit a number of research papers published in international journals. He has received two U.S. Patents.
