Illustrated throughout with black-and-white illustrations and technical diagrams of meters, controls, supplies and their components. Pages 2-15 contain listings for laboratory and portable test instruments, including laboratory standards, testing portables, bridges, decades and recording instruments. Pages 16-21 contain listings for panel and switchboard instruments, including voltmeters, ammeters, wattmeters, frequency meters, and shunts. Pages 22-27 contain listings for pyrometers and associated equipment, including controllers, potentiometers, temperature recorders, thermometers and thermocouples. Pages 28-45 contain listings for service instruments, including industrial analyzers, appliance testers, tachometers, oscilloscopes and tube testers. Pages 46-54 contain listings for transformers, rectifiers and controls, including voltage regulators, electronic heaters, battery eliminators and rheostats. Pages 55-64 contain listings for miscellaneous equipment, including timers and time switches, photoelectric relays, thermostats, solenoids and solenoid valves and storage battery testers. Each listing consists of a black-and-white illustration of the instrument, accompanied by a short description, a series of specifications (including physical dimensions and weight) and a table giving list price and any other specialized measurements that the instrument takes. Page 64 contains a series of technical diagrams that show conventional instrument connections for various instruments listed in the catalog - ammeter, voltmeter, wattmeter, millivoltmeter, and other configurations including multiples of these. Covers show minor shelfwear; back cover has browned noticeably. Spine is moderately worn, especially at head and foot; small, <1/4" tear is evident near the head. Small, triangular chip is missing from the back cover. Corners of covers are moderately but lightly creased, the longest crease being at the bottom right corner of the front cover, at 3 1/2" in length, and all others being <1/2" in length. Front cover bears stamps from a catalogue library, including stamp with date (March 30, 1949) indicating the catalogue's date of receipt by the library; the words "Cat. 48" appear just below this stamp, in pencil. Pages have toned lightly, but are free of pen or pencil markings. The Electro-Tech Equipment Company, a manufacturer of industrial testing instruments, was based in New York City, New York. $30.
