Very good. Beautifully bound in fine binding of full maroon levant, lavishly decorated in embossed gilt. Marbled endpaper and gilt inner dentelles. All edges gilt. A sumptuous production. Very scarce. 'This edition of sixty copies of Gray's Elegy has been printed by hand for the Right Honourable Walter Runciman at the Temple Sheen Press. June MCMXV.' Contains, loosely inserted, the beautiful little calling card of 'Aimé-Joseph de Fleuriau' (1870 - 1938), a French diplomat who served as Ambassador to London from 1924 until 1933.
