This small hard cover book (4 ¾ x 7 inches, 282 pages plus one page of adverts by the same author/publisher) was published by Macmillan and Co. Limited of London, dated 1909. The book is bound in red covers with black titles on cover and spine. Condition: This book is in very good condition, especially considering its age. The hard covers have some light soiling, ink drips on cover and gutter and a bit sunned or otherwise faded. They are barely bumped, however, and thus quite presentable. Inside, there are some marks from a former owner on the front endpaper but otherwise, the interior of the book is clean with nary a blemish. Both hinges are fully intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. …
