Good condition for a nearly sixty-year-old engineering text, and the wear is all on the outside. The grey cloth boards show significant scuffing, fading and soiling across both covers, and the cloth is dusty. The spine ends are worn with some fraying at the head and tail. There is no dust jacket, and none is believed to have been issued with this title. A small white number label reading 25941 sits at the lower right of the back cover; it is disclosed here because it could be either a shop inventory number or a library accession number, and no other library evidence of any kind was found. The binding is intact and functional and the text block is square and complete through the index. The interior is the good news: the pages are clean and white, and no writing, underlining or highlighting was found on any page examined. A solid working copy of a scarce technical title.

Store description
For 15 years I've been an Oregon CPA, and for 10 of those I taught tax and accounting at the college level. But my proudest work has nothing to do with numbers: I homeschooled my daughter from preschool through freshman year and in September she will be starting the 10th grade - homeschooling. This season taught me a good book can shape how a child sees the world. Every title I choose has to engage young minds to think critically and navigate this world with real understanding. Every book has a story — but it only means something when a child lives it. Why Papa Duck? I was "Uncle Duck" to my nieces and nephews for years — duck pictures fill my office, Mallards are my favorite. When my grandson arrived last year, the family asked what he'd call me. There was only one answer. CPA by training, teacher by calling, homeschool dad by experience, Papa Duck by love.…
