Elementra: The Elemental War

Life as the adopted child of a king can feel like living in someone else’s shadow—especially when your brother seems better at everything you do. But life goes on.

I was adopted into the Arc family, an Elect bloodline whose name carried power and expectation. Our father ruled as king, not as a diplomat seated safely behind walls, but as a protector sworn to stand between his people and the dangers of the world.

In our land, power is born from emotion itself. Each of us is gifted in our own way, shaped by what we feel and who we become. For many years, life was stable—almost peaceful.

Until the night of the Royal Ball.

One night was all it took to unravel everything I thought I understood about family, power, and my place in this world. What followed would test not only who I was, but who I was willing to become.

Because some stories are not chosen.
They are survived.
