1788. No Edition Remarks. 320 pages. Full brown contemporary leather with gilt title label to spine ('Mole's Algebra'). Please note, reading copy: insect holes to p298 onwards, rendering text and formulae hard to read on last few pages. The bookworms seem to have had much more of a taste for algebra than I do! Otherwise, pages have slight foxing, tanning and minor thumbing. Hinges cracked and loosening. Some stains to front matter and text block edges. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper and pastedown. Text block edges extremely tanned. Boards have heavy edge wear: intense bumping and peeling to corners; spine ends are very crushed with mild loss. Joints heavily split: binding thread poking through. Scratched, rubbed and marked. A hint of dark scorching to spine, edges. Boards are notably warped. Dull lettering.
