(Architecture) David Baker. The Elements of Architecture in Relation to a Proposal for the Design of a New Temple of Judaism. Washington, D.C. 1947. 11"x 8.5", 24 leaves (printed on one side only). Mimeographed. Staple bound. Good condition. Rare. He had a verified association with Walter Gropius, and from what I can see worked on some innovative architecture (solar house 1949) and seems to have had a number of Navy Department contracts in the DC area. (The house he designed for himself in a very leafy part of NW DC was/is a striking mid-century modern creation.)
